A huge new McDonald’s in Whitley, Coventry opened to the public for the first time on Wednesday, March 8 2023. Around 100 people will be able to dine at the new restaurant, which will also have a 30-space car park nearby.
Franchisee John Kiely MBE will be running the new restaurant on London Road. With the addition of this branch, the local businessman now owns seven restaurants in Coventry.
NF Garden & Landscape Design were contracted to landscape the grounds around the restaurant, and Nick Franklin and his team travelled down to Coventry to complete the project.
It was really exciting for my staff because it is a brand-new store so some of them would have seen it for the first time this morning. When they walked in to see the smiles on their faces in terms of what we built for them and how it looks and the facilities.’
John Kiely MBE
If you have a south-facing bank in your garden, consider leaving it as a wild corner; it could provide excellent nesting grounds for warmth-loving solitary bees. Bumblebees are attracted to sheltered, shaded areas that are out of the way.
